Last week I was in Tenerife on a family vacation and it was such a beautiful place! I will definitely be visiting the Canary Islands again in the future. The climate was absolutely beautiful though it was very windy this time of year, especially in the second half of the week when there were severe weather warnings. The island of Tenerife is small enough to rent a car and get to the other side of the island in approximately one hour. We stayed in Adeje, which is in the south of Tenerife. El Teide National Park is very special and a must see when on the island. The day started out overcast but as we drove higher into the mountains we were above the clouds all of  a sudden it was beautiful weather and the sun was shining (though the temperature was very cool at this elevation hence the many layers of oddly matched clothing haha). We also went on a boat trip to dolphin watch which was very fun! Be wary though a lot of the boats are very tourist attraction-ey! The only good thing is that the boats don't disturb the wild dolphins and it is obviously a very fun experience seeing these wild animals in their natural habitat.  Make sure to check out all my city pictures of Tenerife which I'll be posting this week!
