Desert Oasis OOTD

To take a break from the glitz and glam of Dubai we went to a nearby Emirate, Ras Al-Khaimah for few days to enjoy the beach and the quiet. There's really not much to find there but there are some ruins like this Dhayah fort located in this breathtaking oasis near the boarder of Oman. There was a little guest house with a pool and we bought some local dates. If you haven't tried dates from the Middle East, you're missing out! There's also an abandoned fishing village in Ras Al-Khaimah which I would have loved to see but we had no time. What was meant to be an early start to the day turned into quite a late start and we were there midday so unfortunately it was just far too hot to walk up to the fort. But we enjoyed watching the goats lazying around or running around and climbing up rocks. I hadn’t actually intended to do a photo shoot so this was kind of impromptu because I loved the landscape and the goats. I'm wearing this striped T-shirt which I found in a Zara sale for 7 CHF last year. The pants I actually got in the same sale for 15 CHF, I believe, but the denim in an oasis was a little bit too hot, I'm not sure what I was thinking getting dressed that morning haha! Who cares though with a view like this and all those cute little goats!
