A Day at the Opera OOTD

 When I was in Tenerife I did a little bit of shopping the second day and picked up this cute watercolor effect sweater from Stradivarius. I love a lot about this sweater - first off it's in a ribbed material which gives it a sporty vibe; it's nice and lose but it's not baggy or unflattering; and finally, it's colorful but not bright. So basically it's the perfect fall/winter sweater/statement piece. When putting together an outfit my go to is really wearing a special piece and matching it with neutral accessories. This mac from Forever21 is my absolute favorite because it's versatile enough to wear all year round as a coat in spring or as a layering piece in fall. Since in Tenerife the weather was still warm I simply wore the mac as a coat. This bag is another favorite of mine which I also picked it up at Stradivarius and it's the perfect size. While it fits quite a lot it's still small enough to be a cross body bag or you can loop the strap and wear it as a handbag. Now let's talk about this building! The pictures were taken in front of this incredibly architectural opera house in Santa Cruz. It was completely boarded up and kind of deserted which is a shame because it was such an incredible building and it was completely made out of mosaic tiles and right on the water.
